Our Mission
Flourishing Futures Tutoring aims to provide successful, impactful and supportive educational tutoring delivered by a highly experienced teacher in supportive small groups, hosted at Haddenham Library and online providing:
Primary:
* KS2 Literacy support,
* KS2 Numeracy development,
* Eleven Plus preparation and practice.
Secondary:
*English KS3, GCSE and A Level preparation,
* Psychology GCSE and A Level preparation.
* Homework Club.
Our Underpinning Educational Focus
Welcome to Flourishing Futures Tutoring, where we prioritize educational support tailored to the unique needs of every student. Under the guidance of our experienced teacher and qualified SENCo, students will be encouraged to develop their talents, and any neurodiversity nurtured, supporting the development of their individual superpowers. We believe in stepping out of comfort zones and embracing mistakes as essential learning opportunities. Together, we'll encourage a growth mindset and the powerful idea of “not yet, but soon,” fostering motivation and resilience in every learner.
Our Learning Environment
With the backdrop of Haddenham Library books, Thursday afternoons are transformed into creative workshops, providing a nurturing space that promotes collaboration, socialization, and resilience in learning.
In small group settings, students have the opportunity to learn from one another, fostering both academic growth and social skill development. This collaborative approach to tutoring creates a more comfortable environment, making the process feel less intimidating compared to traditional one-on-one tutoring. Emphasizing teamwork and communication, this method not only enhances understanding of the subject matter but also builds confidence in learners.
